Susan

Susan grew up on the ocean in the Atlantic Provinces and is delighted to find herself living next to the sea once again.

Susan has post grad degrees in international and environmental law. Her legal career has spanned in-house corporate law and teaching law at Canadian universities and abroad. For several years, she developed and taught courses at the new English language law school in Cambodia. She has worked with human rights organizations in Afghanistan, India and Cambodia as well as here at home.

Susan is now a lawyer arbitrator employed by the Government of BC full time, happily working from home where her desk is situated for the best view of waves, otters, seals and whatever else goes by.

A mother of two sons, Susan is the proud grandmother of 3. She spends several months a year in Fernie supporting her son Will and young family.

With a garden in the Sooke Community Garden, Susan’s interest in gardening is reawakened. She is a Master Organic Gardener.
